Following in her father’s footsteps

Serena Giudice has been re-elected Chairman of the Master Builders Mid-West Branch for the second consecutive year.

Ms Giudice, the manager of Geraldton Homes formerly Kevin Giudice & Co. was re-elected unopposed at the 49th Annual General Meeting of the Master Builders Associations Mid-West Branch yesterday in Geraldton. The chosen venue, the Zeewijk Training Restaurant at Durack Institute of Technology was a perfect choice for this end of year event.

Ms Giudice said she was honoured to lead the Association’s Mid-West Branch in what has been a most positive year. With the opening of the Master Builders new offices and Building Display Centre in February 2011, the branch has experienced fourteen months of operations and has finally farewelled the teething phase.

“It is wonderful to look back and see just how far this branch has progressed since its inception in 1964 said Serena”. My father Kevin was heavily involved in the branch and had spent 5 years as Branch Chairman before his passing in 2009.

“Master Builders plays an important role in ensuring appropriate and adequate training is provided for the building industry to maintain high standards of workmanship”.

According to Master Builders Regional Manager, Di Gilleland, the construction of the associations new Building Display & Training Centre has been a most positive move. “Our up to date facilities are fast becoming known to the broader community. We also hire our rooms out to the public for their staff functions and in house training and have regular international as well as interstate clients as well as provide a product display showroom for the people of the Midwest.
